Rotary is a community of friends, neighbors, and problem-solvers who share ideas and work together to create lasting change.
The Rotary Club of Abuja Urban consists of business and professional men and women devoted to service to humanity, using their time, talent, treasure, and thought to foster the growth of humanity.
Today millions of people are displaced by armed conflict or persecution. Through our partnerships with several leading universities, the Rotary Peace Fellowship develops the skills to strenghten peace efforts, train local leaders to prevent and mediate conflict, and support long term peace building in areas affected by conflict. We provide up to 100 peace fellowships annually.

For more than 110 years, Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects.
We Promote Peace
Training adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict, and helping refugees who have fled dangerous areas.
We Fight Diseases
Educating and equipping communities to stop the spread of diseases like polio, HIV/AIDS, and malaria, and expanding access to low-cost/free health care.
We Provide Water
Supporting local solutions for clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, and sharing expertise with community leaders to ensure project success.
We Save Families
Nearly 6 million children under the age of five die each year due to malnutrition, poor health care, and inadequate sanitation. The Rotary club expands access to quality care so that mothers and their children can live and grow stronger.
We Support Education
More than 775 million people over the age of 15 are illiterate. The Rotary club’s goal is to strengthen community capacity to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy.
We Grow Economies
The Rotary club carries out service projects that enhance economic and community development. They create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old, strengthen local entrepreneurs and community leaders, particularly women, in impoverished communities.
